Rockford City Market set for Sept. 22


ROCKFORD — The next Rockford City Market will be held from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22 at the intersection of Water and Market streets. The market will feature food and handmade items for sale, music by Harlan Jefferson and the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, face painting by the Auburn Key Club, children’s crafts by the Illinois Bobcat Foundation and a free cooking demonstration. The Nikolas Ritschel Foundation will promote its upcoming 7K fundraiser at the gates. Free admission. For information:
